Project details:
- The line used the GETRAC® A3 system and was adapted to the existing intersection enabling it to pass below the Aachen-Cologne high-speed line
- The GETRAC® A3 ballastless track system needs no internal grounding, which means it was possible to electrify the line without additional planning or system adaptation
- The product was selected because the ballastless track system could be supplied quickly
- RAILONE supplied approx. 500 GETRAC® A3 sleepers
